Dear Parents and Students,

It gives an immense pleasure in presenting to you the ‘Curriculum” for the session 2021 – 2022.

I would like to thank God Almighty for giving me an opportunity to serve in a noble profession like education. I extend my heartfelt thanks for your cooperation rendered during the session 2020 – 2021.

The aim of the Curriculum helps to make a proper plan for the Academic Excellence of your ward. The Curriculum has focused on Scholastic Areas, Co Scholastic areas and extra-curricular activities. These are the Pillars for the overall development of the students.

Scholastic areas are to be made strong through weekly tests, Periodic tests, Half Yearly Examination & Annual Examination. The concept of Audio Visual effect is also one way to make the students to understand the concept in a easy way.

The holistic development of the students is not only based on the Scholastic areas but also Co Scholastic as well as Extra- Curricular activities. Co Scholastic areas develop aesthetic skills like Co-curricular activities, QCT, Mass PT, Yoga, Personality Development and so on… and Extra-curricular activities develop physical fitness, Social Empowerment through Work Education ( SEWA) etc…

We give assurance to develop the expected learning abilities, competitive spirit and inculcate the different skills and values with the help of curriculum.

DAILY ROUTINE

• Timing of school on Monday to Friday & all working Saturdays : 7:50 am to 2:00pm
• Total Duration : 6hrs
• First Assembly Bell : 7:45am
• Main Gate will be closed at 7: 50am and nobody will be allowed to enter in School after the prescribed time.

Morning Assembly conducted in the schools play a vital role in imposing good morals among the students and it gets registered in their minds quickly. It develops a feeling of being united and understands the school in a better way.

Prayers have a power of creating a pious atmosphere that helps instill certain values such as discipline, punctuality etc…

Special assembly will be conducted as per the schedule given below by the respective House or Club.

Note: If the above mentioned Events fall on Sunday or any holiday, they are to be celebrated/ observed on the previous day or next day.

HOUSE SYSTEM

The house system is formed in order to encourage the students to participate maximum in CCA and Sports activities. The Inter House competitions are held throughout the year to explore the hidden talents of the students. It also ensures that there is healthy and productive competition being carried out among the students while taking part in all competitions throughout the year. These competitions are also help to boost confidence of the students and belongingness towards their house.

All students are divided into four houses i.e. Aravalli, Himalaya, Nilgiri and Satpura. Each house is under the guidance of House Masters and other members who are all from the teaching faculty. The house masters and other members select the eligible students for the post of the captains and respective house students select the captains through voting. House meeting will be conducted on Wednesdays to discuss about the activities to be held on Saturdays.

CCA activities give the students an opportunity to develop particular skills and exhibit their non-academic abilities. They are important part and parcel of educational institutions to develop the students’ personality as well as to strengthen the classroom learning.

Examination evaluates the students’ skills and enables them to overcome their nerves. It is an efficient way to measure the knowledge. It promotes competition among the students. It helps in developing one’s personality and confidence.

ASESSMENT CRITERIA FOR GRADE I to VIII

Scholastic Area : The assessment structure and examination for GRADE I to VIII comprises of two terms explained below.

GRADING SCALE FOR SCHOLASTIC AREAS

• Co SCHOLASTIC AREAS : the below mentioned Co SCHOLASTIC AREAS are term - wise on 3 grading (A = Outstanding, B = Very Good, C = Fair)
• Work Education : work education refers skill based activities resulting in good or service useful to the community
• Art Education : Visual & Performing Arts
• Health & Physical Education : Sports / martial Arts / Yoga / NCC
• Discipline : student will be assessed for discipline term wise on a 3-Point grading Scale (A = Outstanding, B = Very Good, C = Fair)
